God wants to comfort us. God wants to help his poor and restless and broken children. In fact, that was what Jesus's ministry and death was all about-love towards us. We try to fill our broken cups with water-and wonder why we're thirsty. When we submit to him, not matter the circumstance, we can get an overflow of rich, sweet life-giving water in the best cups of his house... He does comfort us and help us back up when we cry out to him. Don't give up! Don't try to do life on your own! There's someone who knows everything we've ever been through and can help us through our lives.
