Missionaries and Internet!

Today was a little short, but really good. Every team met with a couple of missionaries at their stations. We did ministry, got some tips, and learned about them. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had Richard(a son of the missionaries grandmother and grandfather know), Miyoko, and Kay.
After getting to know each other a bit at Krispy Kreme, we split up into three pairs to prayerwalk. I went with Miyoko on the south side. We prayed a bit, but we also talked a lot about Japanese campuses, campus crusade, Japanese culture, and the like. Also about each other's pasts and heritages. It was good.
For lunch, we went to Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant. It was in a basement. Pink Panther was playing on from a projector. I got the E-lunch. Really big- appetiser, grapefruit juice, soup, water, and a main dish of rice and meat. Didn't know it, but it had squid in it! That was a surprise. Only in Japan...
We did five minute English/passing out tracts, with the women with me on the north side. We met a couple of people. Methusela, a Filipina, stopped back with Kay, and she's going to meet with us on Sunday for church! I'm so excited!(not the woman in the picture)
After everything, we met up again at Krispy Kreme, debriefed, and got some advice. On the train, we met a girl who had been to a mission school. All I said to her was "konnichiwa," and it started a great conversation about why we're here and her background. She even said that a few of her friends became Christians in college. I asked her a couple of times about why she didn't become a Christian. She mentioned her family and the whole 'I'm Japanese' excuse. I gave her my meishi and Kay gave her a book of testimonies from Japanese who became Christians- even a Buddhist monk.
It was nice getting back early today and having internet in the girls' part of the cave!
